Ellis River Riders

Ellis River Riders is one of Western Maine's largest non-profit equine organizations located in Andover, Maine. The horse club has nearly 300 members from all over Maine, and as far away as Colorado, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Wyoming. The club offers a wide variety of activities for horse lovers including shows with both Western and English classes and Gymkhana events as well. They have an abundance of day trail rides and a few annual overnight adventures. Our shows have something for all members of the family and all riding abilities.

    Below are a couple pictures I took at one of their shows. These shows are very interesting where they have various contests and events of riding skills and competitions. If you've never taken the time to attend one of these events, I highly recommend it. I would highly recommend these shows or events to anyone to come watch or join and participate. At the bottom of this page are some links to their sites where you can get more information about them.

Fine horses, fine art, fine chocolate...what could be better than that - except for adding excellent gourmet chocolate flavored coffee. So that is just what we did!
